Ni Rudolf Nwomga was born on January 25th, 1959 in Bali Nyonga Cameroon. He was second to the last child in the family household of Ba Philip Njinikah Fokumlah and Na Elizabeth Sema Fokumlah. He went to school in Bali, Shisong, Nyeygi-Batibo and Bamenda. Upon completion of his primary and various technical education he relocated to Buea where he lived with his Eldest Brother, the late Ba Emmanuel Fokumlah. When Ba Fokumlah was transferred to Yaounde from the then Public Service Commission in Buea, Ni Rudolf spent just a little bit of time in Yaounde and returned to Limbe(Victoria) and lived with the Dohnyem’s (His Maternal Grandfather) for several years. While in Limbe he worked at Atlantic Beach as a tourist guide driver carrying visiting tourists nationwide.
He later moved to Mutengene where he lived there for more than 30 years, got married and had 5 children. Ni Rudolf relocated to the United States 15 years ago, lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota for three years, relocated to Oklahoma City to and liked the presence of several members of the Fokumlahnjinikah’s family. He surprised family members and loved ones with his unforeseen early exit into eternity on May 11th, 2023 within less than 24 hours of hospitalization.
Ni Rudolf Fokumlah had a great love for people and was a talented Guitarist who loved singing. He was very active in church, within the family as well as participation in community activities.
He is survived by his five children, the wife Ma Therese Fokumlah Née Musong, several sisters and brothers within the enlarged family, several nephews and nieces and several grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. May He Rest in Peace with the Lord.
