Shirley was born in Horton, MO to Lowell and Glenda (Walker) Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don Houston; 2 daughters, Kimberly Dawn Bowersox and Georgia Lynn Triplett. Shirley is survived by her husband George; 4 children, Monica Miller and husband Don, Mark Bowersox, Helen Bowersox, Michael Bowersox and wife Lindsey; sister, Glenda Douglas; 2 brothers, Carl and Sam Houston; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to either Oklahoma Lupus Foundation or Mercy Hospice. Services to celebrate her life will be 11:00 am, Saturday, July 9, 2016 in the chapel at Buchanan Funeral Service.
