Suzanne (Susie) Clark, beloved wife, mother, and MiMi, unexpectedly passed from this world into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at age 71.
Susie was born in Oklahoma City to Myrt and Mancell Ray on December 21, 1952. She lived in the same house with her parents and sister, Sharan, until she graduated from U.S. Grant High School in 1971. Susie was a business owner, a breast cancer survivor, and a savvy amateur detective. Not only did she enjoy watching true crime, mystery, and whodunnit shows, but she could also track down information faster than top detectives. She was a kind-hearted, Jesus-loving woman who gave to everyone around her generously and was always prepared for whatever came her way. As her children grew up, she made sure her home was always open to their friends—whether it was church youth group events or college students who needed a place to hang out. Susie liked to play cards and could get pretty competitive; she especially enjoyed playing Super Mario Brothers videogames with her husband. She loved restaurant dining and taking her family out for a good steak. Her favorite people to spoil, though, were her two grandsons who never came to MiMi’s house without receiving new Lego sets, toys, games, and plenty of kisses.
She was a spunky woman who will be immeasurably missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband Victor Clark, daughter Tiffany Williams and son-in-law Rev. Dr. Cameron Lee Williams, son Rev. Dr. Sam Lee Dallas and daughter-in-law Krissi Dallas, grandsons Jasper Dallas and Caspian Dallas, sister Sharan Campbell and brother-in-law Mike, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family wants to invite all attendees to wear a pop of pink to the funeral services in Susie’s honor. The visitation will be Friday, March 22, 2024 at 9:00 am followed by the funeral service at 10:00 am at Putnam City Baptist Church 11401 N Rockwell Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73162. Her body will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens 8701 Northwest Expy Oklahoma City, OK 73162.
