Theresa Ann Coleman June 26, 1937 - May 4, 2024

Theresa was born in El Reno to Aloysius Immenschuh and Theresa (Hennesey). She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Melanie Redus and her brother Raymond Immenschuh. The family lived on a farm outside of Okarche. Theresa attended Okarche for 4 years before finishing the rest of her schooling at El Reno. After graduation, she moved to Oklahoma City and began working at the Daily Oklahoman. It was there that she met the love of her life, Tommy Coleman. The couple had one daughter and one son and enjoyed 62 years of marriage together. Theresa devoted her life to caring for her family. The legacy of love she leaves behind as a wife, mother and grandmother will continue to impact her family for generations. Theresa’s favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She also loved to cook and made the best homemade pies and bread. Later in life, Tommy and Theresa bought a place at Lake Eufaula where they made countless memories with their grandchildren. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Mary York and husband Lee; son, Tom Coleman and wife Barbie; grandchildren, Jennifer Swindler (Patrick), Josh Coleman (Amy), Jason York, Kenny Coleman (Michelle), Kevin Coleman (Hayley), Lilly York; great-grandchildren, Emma and Matt Swindler, Ben, Jon, Brody, Brooks and Kase Coleman. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Ann’s for the exceptional care shown to Theresa.
