Tommy Afton Weimer joined his beloved wife Carolyn Sue Weimer in heaven, Friday May 26th, 2023. Tom was born in Seminole, Oklahoma to Lottie & Coy Weimer, and went on to serve 20+ years in the Army as a nurse and medic. He met his wife Carolyn in Lawton, Oklahoma.
After retiring from the military Tom continued his love for helping others in being a nurse with the VA Hospital and all throughout his professional career. He assisted anyone who needed it in both their personal lives and their spiritual beliefs in Christ.
Surviving Tom are his 3 children: Candace Webb, Frederick Keel, and Skye Weimer. His legacy also leaves 8 grandchildren: Aaron, Alex, Aron, Brett, Krystal, Matthew, Sarah and Tracey. As well as 4 blessed great grandchildren: August, Atlas, Cayde and Dylan.
Services for Tommy Weimer will be held as follows: A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N Council Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73132; funeral service at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Service; graveside service at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 5, 2023 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd. Elgin, OK 73538.
