Born on August 27, 1962, in Oklahoma City, OK., Toni was the youngest of three children. With her calm demeanor and beautiful bouncy curls, she quickly gained the hearts of everyone who met her.
Toni graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1980. Soon after, she entered the workforce and began working nights at Howard Johnson. Her work ethic became impeccable throughout the years, and soon a career in the oil and gas industry was born. Toni impressed everyone with her exceptional responsibility and loyalty, making her a valuable employee and a friend to many. Toni consistently exceeded all expectations.
Shortly after her father died, Toni started her own family when she married Jeff Kitchell in 1994. After a devastating pregnancy loss, they relocated to Broken Arrow, OK., and shortly after, decided to go their separate ways. She then reconnected with Mike Vantrease, her high school sweetheart, and not long after, her older sister lost her battle with cancer in 2016.
Toni suffered the greatest of heartbreaks when her mother passed away on September 24, 2022. Life as she knew it would never be the same and that was more than she could handle. On Thursday, September 12, 2024, Toni LeAnn Schnake (62) entered Heaven.
She was welcomed by her father Donny Louis Schnake, her mother Lynda Sue Schnake, her sister Donna Sue Birkmeyer, her unborn baby and several furry friends. Toni is survived by her brother, Lyndall Laverne Schnake of Lakewood, CO. Her nephew Zach Schnake, and nieces; Cindy Dyson, Elicia Brown, January Colbert, and Stephani Schnake-Torres along with their beautiful children.
