Toni Noreen Papin, 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29th at Tealridge Assisted Living Center in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Toni was born on December 3, 1947 in Los Angeles, California to James and Lola Taylor. She was the second of four children. Her family moved to Oklahoma City where she graduated from John Marshall High School. Toni married David Papin and the two of them had five children. During this time she was active on the PTA board at Greenvale Elementary School, loved to craft, sew and crochet. She spent a lot of time driving the kids around to their many activities. They later divorced and Toni went to work at IHS Energy. She learned about the oil industry and made many new friends. She is survived by her siblings, Patti Clapp, Kathy Taylor, Jim Taylor; children Amy Scott and husband Randy, Tim Papin and wife Nikki, Sarah Gault, James Papin and wife Cassie, Jenny Stone and husband Dirk; grandchildren Hailey Hall, Emma Blank and husband Andrew, Kaylee Benge and husband Garrett, Madison Weaver and husband Harlan, Molly Gault, Timmy Gault, Taylor Papin, Danica Triplett, Adrin Stone, Coen Papin, Annie Stone, Cade Papin, Avery Papin; great grandchildren Cobie Blank, Rosie Benge, Grady Weaver, Isla Mack, Mila Mack and Boston Benge soon to arrive in April.
Visitation for Toni will take place on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 1:00 – 8:00 PM, at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N Council Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73132. Her Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Buchanan Funeral Service.
