Travis Lloyd Nunley was born on November 3rd, 1967, to Ervin and Patricia Nunley, in Lawton Oklahoma at Comanche County Hospital. He grew up in Waurika, Oklahoma, and graduated from Waurika High School in 1986. He spent most of his adult life in the OKC/Edmond area where he raised his family and lived with his wife Andrea. Travis went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 9th, 2021.
Travis will be remembered for many things, but I think most who knew him will remember him as a man who loved. He loved God, he loved his family, he loved his friends. He loved sports (specifically the Dallas Cowboys), he loved coaching, he loved to make up silly songs to sing. He loved playing with his kids and grandkids, he loved to argue with umpires, and he loved every dog he ever met.
Put simply, he loved to love, and everyone who came into his life felt that love. He leaves behind a legacy of people whose lives he touched and who remember him fondly. We will remember his big laugh, his bald head, and his happy smile. He will be greatly missed.
Travis leaves behind his wife Andrea, four children Brianna and her husband Jake, Hunter, Soleia (Sunny), and Savannah; his parents, Ervin and Patricia Nunley; his brothers Michael and his wife Becky and Lonnie and his wife Crystal; his nephew Hayden, and his nieces Payton and Maycee; his bonus children, Emily and her husband Bradley, Chandler and her husband Sammy, Peyton, and Landen; his granddaughters, Ember and Brinley; and many other relatives and friends.
