On Sunday, December 1, 2024, Trinity Wilson Todd ascended to the next level of existence joining our Lord Jesus and those who passed before him. Trinity entered this realm on October 23, 1997, as an old soul with an unmatched curiosity of the world before him. He was a consummate seeker who early on at Will Rodgers Elementary was identified to participate in the PEAK program throughout his educational years at Hefner Middle School and Putnam City North High School. In high school he served as Latin Club President for two years of the 4 years he participated. He also played upright bass in the orchestra throughout his school years.
During his early years he achieved the Scouting ranks up to Life including Arrow of Light award and the Order of The Arrow honor society of the Boy Scouts of America. Trinity chose to earn his own money as soon as he was old enough by first working at Hideaway Pizza, followed by Tommy’s Italian Restaurant, Bellini’s and finally as manager of the café and bar at the Waterford Hotel.
After high school, Trinity attended UCO graduating with a double major in International Business and Human Resources in December 2022. He also studied abroad in London, Dublin and Belfast in 2019.
His love of travel took him to many places aside of England and Ireland including Scotland and Costa Rica…from the headwaters of the Mississippi River in Minnesota to the delta of New Orleans, music festivals in Memphis and Winfield…to the redwoods and whale watching in California to the mountains and roaring rivers of Colorado and New Mexico. Solo trips to New York City to visit friends were common. He never was afraid to forge his own path traveling solo whether by plane, car, train, subway or tube.
Trinity was a rare and brilliant soul who straddled the realms of creativity and logic with ease. Honest and straightforward, he brought a blunt yet caring approach to his friendships, always speaking the truth with sincerity. At the same time, his artistic sensibility was unparalleled—he was the sort of person who could look at a slab of marble and clearly envision the masterpiece hidden within. Trinity loved immersing himself in music and creative pursuits, from playing Pokémon and Minecraft to crafting intricate and imaginative worlds for his friends in Dungeons & Dragons.
With an unmatched razor-sharp wit and humor that could bring laughter to anyone, Trinity embraced life with open arms and a determination to live authentically on his own terms. He encouraged others to seize opportunities and always saw hardships as challenges to be conquered
Trinity’s life was illuminated by a light that will never be extinguished, a light that continues to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
