Vaughn Baker March 15, 1919 - July 29, 2009

BAKER,
Vaughn N., age 90, of OKC, went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 29, 2009. He was born March 15, 1919 in Coleman, Ok to Jack and Alice (Coy) Baker. He married Joyce Postlewait on Jan. 8, 1966 in Denver, Co. Vaughn proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII as a medic. He was retired from Exxon and URC and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church for 43 years. He is survived by his wife Joyce; 5 sons, Vaughn N. Baker,Jr., Cary Baker, Bob Baker, Rick Cole, Bob Cole and their spouses; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran School Scholarship Fund or the Genesis Project. Services to celebrate his life will be 1:00 PM, Monday, August 3rd, at Messiah Lutheran Church.
