Virginia Lee Vaughn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 1, 1954. At the age of
70 on January 1, 2024, she departed this world to her new home in heaven, surrounded by her
husband and children.
Virginia was a beacon of light that attracted people to her, due to her loving and caring nature.
She would spread cheer and happiness to those around her. Always showing compassion and
kindness to those she knew and met. You could always count on her to pick you up when you
were down. She also had a love and caring nature for pets and plants. She could grow something
from nothing, and had the most big beautiful plant you had ever seen. She would take in any pet
if she could. She always said “God said to take care of the animals,” and she sure did that at any
chance possible.
She was a devoted family woman who was dedicated to the happiness and well being of her
family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was adored by her
grandchildren and treasured their visits. She had a true servant’s heart and would have done
anything for anyone. Virginia will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Josephine Hill, her daughter Josie Vaughn,
her brother Allan Hill and wife Paula Hill.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, James Vaughn; children, Toby Madison and
husband Gary, Mandy Madison and husband Rocky, Jammie Vaughn and husband Clarence
Jeffreys, Christopher Vaughn and wife Linsey; grandchildren Destany Moran and husband
Bryson, Dean Madison, Coal Madison, Margrette Jeffreys, Clarence Jeffreys, Abigail Jeffreys,
