William A. “Bill” Grieb, DVM. December 8, 1927 - July 27, 2022

Dr. William Anson (Bill) Grieb, 94, finally gave it up to the blues and left this juke-joint July 27th. He displayed great love for his family; a wife of nearly 68 years, Rita Jo Allen; 2 sons and a daughter, Allen, JoEllen and Matthew.
“Blues Man Bill” leaves behind a fine and growing legacy, 4 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 6 great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Bill was a happy eccentric who relished in making a better difference for pets and people. He dabbled in many side-ventures and hobbies, as a shade tree mechanic, as an avid all-around sports fan, to the later deep interest in blues music and all that the blues implies.
Dr. Grieb dearly loved the Lord, God’s Word, and showing others the way through his daily interactions with folks from all walks of life. He was a deacon in the Lord’s Church, an active board member of Camp Rock Creek and charter member of the OC Eagles Booster Club back in the day. He was a proponent of Christian education and disciplines. His contributions of time and money paved the way for future generations of Christian learning.
He will be missed by everyone who loved and respected him.
“My sheep listen to my voice. I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life. They will never die, and no one will snatch them from my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them from my Father’s hand.”
John 10:27-29
