William “Bill” Charles Hatch January 6, 1933 - September 22, 2013

William "Bill" Charles Hatch, 80, passed away Sunday September 22, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Bill was born January 6, 1933 in Dunkirk, New York. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Norman Hatch and Katherine Marie Harrington Hatch and his first wife Pauline Hatch. He is survived by his current wife Dolores Hatch of the home and her two children by marriage; his four children by Pauline, Lance Hatch and wife Karen of Houston, TX; Perry Hatch and wife Mary of Deer Creek, OK; Lynn Hatch of Norman, OK; Tracey Brown and husband John of Norman, OK; also survived by his beloved 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Services will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
Bill served his country in the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant . During his service, Bill received recognition for his outstanding service as the First USAF DPI Chief. During his career he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He retired after 30 years of faithful service to his country.
His higher education included a B.S. from the University of Laverne, Irving, CA, as well as receiving a Master degree in Anthropology and Psychology from SUNY, Plattsburg, NY.
After retirement he went on to hold positions with the State of Oklahoma Mental Health and the State of Virginia Mental Health as Director of IT Departments for a combined total of 13 years.
