William J. “Billy” Clark March 20, 1982 - October 2, 2022

On October 2nd, 2022, William (Billy) Joe James Clark left this earth and joined his Savior in his eternal home.

Billy was born on March 20th, 1982 in Woodward Oklahoma, to Greg Clark and Staci Moore. In 1994 Billy moved to Kingfisher where he stayed until he graduated high school in 2001. While attending school, Billy enjoyed football, baseball, basketball, and everything outdoors. Upon graduation, Billy began college at Redlands Community College, then completed his degree in industrial safety at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Upon graduation Billy moved to Fairview, Oklahoma where he began his career with Chesapeake at Nomac Drilling. It was while he was in Fairview that he met Charly and her daughter Kaydence. The two of them becoming a part of Billy’s life brought a new light and purpose to his life.  In 2009 Billy left Nomac and began working for OGE at the Seminole Power Plant. It was shortly after this that Billy proposed to Charly. Billy and Charly married in August of 2010. In 2017 he returned to work for Chesapeake, and shortly after in August they welcomed their daughter Adley into their life.

A very proud day in Billy’s life was in August of 2018, when he rededicated his life to Christ and was baptized. Billy was also very proud of his 17 years of a health and safety professional and had an impact on many.

Billy was a true outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, trapping, and so many other outdoor activities. When he wasn’t spending his time outdoors, he was spending his time being a dedicated husband to Charly, father to Kaydence and Adley, and friend to numerous people.

Billy was a man of extreme honesty, commitment, dedication, and faith. Those that knew Billy well, knew that you were going to get the truth from him, regardless of if you wanted the truth or not. Billy was a straight shooter, and didn’t see much purpose in beating around the bush. You always knew where you stood with him.

Billy’s dedication and commitment was second to none. It didn’t matter what it was, when he set his mind to something he was going to do everything in his power to accomplish his goal. Whether it was hunting, fishing, work, being a father, friend or husband, Billy gave it his all. He believed that if you were going to do something, there was no reason not to give it your best.

Lastly his Faith. Billy continuously developed his relationship with God, and continued to challenge himself in his discipleship. Those that had conversations with Billy the last several years, probably experienced his extreme faith and love of God. He shared his faith with many, and had such a positive impact on strengthening the faith of others. Even in his toughest days, Billy’s faith and commitment remained steadfast, never wavering, and unbelievably strong.

Billy is preceded in death by his Grandmother Norma Clark, Grandfather Bill Clark, and mother Staci Moore.

Billy is survived by his wife Charly and daughters Kaydence and Adley, father Greg Clark and wife Genia of Cashion, sister Amanda Clark of Edmond, step-sister Shannon Dunn and husband Justin of Cashion, step-sister Jessica Johnson and husband Grant of Elgin, half siblings Tasha Burns and Corey Louks, and grandmother Veronica Oddo of Nebraska, as well as many other relatives and numerous friends.

A funeral service will be held for Billy on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Freedom Church in Piedmont, OK with burial to follow at Cashion Cemetery.
