April Gower February 4, 1978 - April 3, 2010

April Marie Gower went to be with our Lord on Saturday April 3, 2010 at the age of 32. Her family was at her side when she began her journey home. April was born during a snow storm on February 4, 1978 to Roger & Phyllis Gower, in OKC. She had 2 miracle babies, her daughters, Kaetlyn Faith, age 8, and Arabella Grace, age 6.
April loved Jesus with all her heart and always strived to serve Him well. She was known at church for taking care of the babies and for teaching kids Bible classes. April loved spending time with her children and many nieces & nephews.
April was a child at heart. She loved all things Disney and was always doing something for the kids. She gave of her heart, willingly and unselfishly to everyone she knew.
April was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of 14 and fought hard the rest of her life against the disease, with grace and dignity, always having a smile on her face.
April was preceded in death by her grandfather Philip Pack, grandmother Marie Pack and her Papaw James Gower.
She is survived by her daughters; her parents; sister, Kim & her husband David & their children: Emily, Logan & Ava; sister Amie & her children: Brittany, Preston, Ella & Emma; brother Rags & his wife Alissa & their children: Christian, Madeline & Samantha; sister Misty & her husband Nick & their daughter Keely; brother Jim & his wife Melissa & their daughter Myla. She is also survived by her Mamaw, Louise Gower & many aunts, uncles & cousins.
We will miss April's light and laughter taking peace that she is dancing in heaven, healthy and whole again.
