Carolyn Marie Hutson passed away peacefully in her home in Yukon, Oklahoma on Tuesday, November 19th , 2024 at the age of 63. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Scott Hutson; brother, Matthew Gregg; her daughters Melody Edwardson and Misti Jefferies; stepdaughters Shannon Phillips, Sonja White, and Melanie Kolander. Grandchildren Ethan and Hunter Lunn, David and Emmalee Edwardson, Haidley, Brionna, Victoria, and Logan Jefferies, Kiara and Kaelynn Cox, Kylar and Kora Clouse, and Sydney, Noah, and Sariah White. She is preceded in death by her mother Rita Gregg, Father James Gregg, son Tyler Clouse, and granddaughter Selah White. Carolyn was born on December 22, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri to Mother, Rita Gregg and Father, James Gregg. She moved to Norman, OK in 1968 and graduated from Norman High School in 1979. She gave birth to her oldest daughter in 1979 and then married Phillip Clouse in 1983 and they had two children together. In 2003, she married Scott Hutson and they were happily married for 21 years. Over the years, she served her community well by working for the Cleveland County Health department, was a sergeant at Lexington Prison, and worked for the Cleveland and Kay county youth shelters. Carolyn enjoyed doing crafts, going to craft shows and farmer’s markets, and especially loved spending time with her family. She was known as a fashionista and had an amazing green thumb with beautiful flowers in her garden. If you knew her you knew she loved Eeyore and had quite the collection. She was a strong woman and wasn’t afraid to tell you the truth. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
