Donna Jean Eisenhour was born in Minco, Oklahoma on August 24, 1929, to August and Bess Kuhlman. She married Harold Eisenhour in June of 1947. Ronnie Lee Eisenhour was born March 23, 1949, to this union. They moved to Dallas in 1951 for Harold to attend mortuary school. Donna worked at a bank in Dallas while Harold was in school. They returned to Oklahoma and Donna went to work at Tinker Air Force Base. In 1956 they bought the Blanchard Funeral Home in 1968 and ran a successful business. Donna moved to Norman in 1968 and then to Surrey Hills.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, August and Bess Kuhlman, her son, Ronnie Lee Eisenhour, her sister, Mildred Eubank and nephew, John Eubank, and her brother, Robert (Sonny) Kuhlman.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Jill Parsons, her great grandson, Colin McNair, sister-in-law, Marjorie Kuhlman, nephews, Bob Kuhlman and wife Carol, Keith Kuhlman, Daniel and Gretchen Phelps, Jacob and Emily Kuhlman, Mason Kuhlman, and great, great niece, Hailey and Quinn Phelps and Jade Kuhlman. She is also survived by her dear friends, Ed and Melissa Ferguson and their 3 sons and Candi and Don Graham.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N Council Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73132. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery, 1124 Cemetery Rd. Minco, OK 73059.
