Dorothy Millwee, age 92, finished her race on October 13, 2023. She was born in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. Dot married Claude Millwee and was married for 50 years.
As a young girl, she began teaching Bible classes. She taught all ages beginning with the nursery, teenage girls and ladies classes. Her ministry all through the years was to encourage others.
Dot enjoyed attending every event that her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were involved in and she was their best fan.
Dot is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Evelyn Jackson. Her beloved husband of 50 years, Claude Millwee, firstborn son, Tim Millwee, two brothers, Roy Lee Jackson and Paul Jackson, Jr. two sisters, Glenda Reece and Mary Glover.
Dot is survived by her two sons, Mike Millwee and his wife Neta, Steve Millwee and his wife Christy, and daughter-in-law, Debbie. Six grandchildren, Jason and his wife Laura, Todd and his wife Kristin, Joel and his wife Beth, Leeca and her husband Mondo, Abbiann and her husband Shane, Lauren and her husband Kyle. Five great granddaughters, Mattie, Paislee, Rylie, Reese and Blair, along with six great grandsons, Roman, Aden, Tysen, Cooper, Cole, and Luke. One Sister, Linda Pettit and husband Tom. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and lifetime friends.
