Ella Mae (Varnell) Anderson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away June 3, 2023, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Ella was born to Jessie J. and Nettie Mae (Stewart) Varnell on July 8, 1926 at Briartown, Oklahoma.
She was a housewife, beautician, auction company cashier, Braum’s Ice Cream Store Manager, and a manager for Public Storage.
She is survived by; her son Darrel Wayne Lawson and wife Diane of Oklahoma City, OK, grandchildren Wendy Binkley, Shannon Pearson, and Justin Lawson; her daughter Dolores (Lawson) McEntire of Spencer, OK, grandchildren Toby McEntire and Samantha McEntire; her son Frank Anderson, Lexington, OK.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Lloyd Eugene Lawson; second husband J.B. (Andy) Anderson; son Jerry Eugene Lawson; her parents Jessie and Nettie Varnell; her brothers, Herbert, Jackson and Lester; and sisters, Betty, Clarica, Rae, and Marjoria; son-in-law Tommy McEntire.
Graveside services will be at Coleman Cemetery, Porum, Oklahoma at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 8, 2023 Under supervision of Buchanan Funeral Service, Oklahoma City.
