Ernest Cardenas (Ernie) passed away and entered his heavenly home on October 20, 2023.

He was born on September 12, 1998, in Houston Texas. He is the son of Israel Cardenas and Suzy Baranek.

Ernest loved spending time with his large family, gaming with his online friends, Spiderman and the color pink. He loved music and food, and was one to try any kind of food, no matter how crazy it was.

One of his favorite things to do was going to movies and concerts with his sister, Sofie.

Ernest met and lived with the love of his life, Kristina, and they had four kittens that were every thing to them.

He is survived by his parents, Israel Cardenas of MWC and Suzy Baranek of Edmond. His siblings, Joe, Sofie, Ricky, Blaine, Lauren, Roman, Rachel, Zoe, Caesar, Gia and Abel. His grandmothers, Rachel Cardenas and Ann Haworth. His brother in laws, Christian Davis and Garrik Gall. His sister in law, Jenny Cardenas and several nephews.

Ernest will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and anyone who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N Council Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73132. His funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 30, 2023, at Cherokee Hills Baptist Church, 5700 NW 63rd St. Oklahoma City, OK 73132. Interment will follow at Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery.
