Frances (Fran) Cory was born November 29, 1940 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Ray and Mable Williams. Fran died on June 30, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents, an infant son and her husband Robert Cory. She is survived by her son Timothy Gay and his wife Linda, 2 grandchildren, Chris Gay and Brandi Ortiz and her husband Nathan Ortiz and 2 great grandchildren, Mateo and Elijah. She is also survived by a sister June King of Stillwater, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Fran was the executive secretary for the Oklahoma City Mayor’s office for 40 years beginning in the 1970’s. She attended Church regularly, was an EWI member and served on the OKC Library Commisson.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Bethany Cemetery.
