Harold Joseph Doerfler of Oklahoma City was born on October, 22, 1942 and went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2023. During his life he served in the United States Air Force, afterwards he earned a bachelor’s degree from Central State and a master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. He spent his career in service to the state of Oklahoma with the State Regents for Higher Education. Harold was married 50 years to Barbara Ann Reints. Together they would have a son, David Doerfler. Harold had a deep love for God and family. His family’s lives will be forever touched by his presence.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Doerfler and Dorothy Doerfler, his brother Alvin Bill Doerfler, and sister-in-law Billie Jeane Doerfler. He is survived by his wife Barbara Doerfler and his son David Doerfler.
