Harriette (Westervelt) Boatright of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on February 19, 2022. She was born on January 7, 1929 to Wallace Wood & Ruth (Dinwiddie) Westervelt. The youngest of three children, Harriette graduated from Classen High School in OKC. She met her husband, Lloyd Boatright Jr, at Wesley United Methodist Church in OKC, and they were married in 1947. Harriette and Lloyd made their first home on a farm in Spavinaw, OK, but moved back to the city and settled in northwest Oklahoma City. Harriette and Lloyd raised two children, Lloyd III and Kathy Ruth. Harriette worked as the financial secretary at Wesley UMC for over 20 years. She was an avid bridge player, a patron of the arts, and she enjoyed yard work and socializing with her friends and family. She moved to the Concordia Senior Living community in 2015 where she enjoyed Rummikub, puzzling, and having meals and visits with her friends. Harriette is survived by her daughter Kathy Phillips and son-in-law John Phillips, and five grandchildren: Jay Boatright, Brenton Phillips, Heather Sutton, Bo Boatright, and Cami Boatright-Fowler. “Bebe” was loved and will be missed by her nine great-grandchildren: Preston, Will, Eli, Clara, Thomas, Micah, Bo, Samantha, and Megan. She is also survived by her brother Wallace Westervelt and her sisters-in-law Francis Boatright and Margaret Russell, and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd Jr, her son Lloyd III and his wife Barbara, her brother John Westervelt, and her in-laws Pete Boatright, Gene Russell, Mildred (Ditty) and Gilbert Tuepker, Nelda Westervelt, and Barbara Westervelt.
