Iva Marie Brewer, 82, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023 after a brief illness.
Iva was born on January 23, 1941 to Ira and Ruby Moss in Oil Trough, Arkansas. She loved her parents deeply and had many fond memories of life on the farm where she grew up.
She moved to Oklahoma, where she met and married Bill Brewer. They had three children, and eventually were blessed with six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Iva enjoyed sewing, cake decorating, and planning for birthday parties and holidays with her family. She was whimsical, spunky and a lot of fun.
Iva was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Bill Brewer. She is survived by son Jim Brewer (Debbie), daughter Betty McCawley (Bob), son Brett Brewer (Jennifer), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N Council Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
