Judy Carol Schwarz, 78, of Oklahoma City passed away on November 11, 2023. Judy was born in El Reno, Oklahoma to Edmond and Doris Schweitzer. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic School. Judy married Tom Schwarz on October 19, 1963, and they had two daughters.
She was a friend to all and never met anyone she couldn’t talk to. When the kids were younger she was always involved with their activities from being homeroom mom or cheering at every softball game they had. She loved being outside planting flowers and just relaxing. She was always so proud to brag about all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tom, her parents Edmond and Doris Schweitzer, her brother Deral Schweitzer and great grandson, Bradley Thomas Beckwith.
She is survived by her children Cindy and Ron Jantz and Brenda Schwarz, her brothers Bob Schweitzer and Paul Schweitzer, her grandchildren Leslie and Jacob Beckwith, Kelsey and Connor Moore, Allison Statton, Rebecca Statton and great grandchildren Olivia Moore, Natalie Beckwith, Cooper Moore and Paisley Beckwith and numerous nieces and nephews.
A vigil will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 7:00 PM at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N. Council Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73132. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 2121 N. Portland Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73107.
