Lillian Ann (Marcotte) Martin, 75, of Edmond OK, went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2020. She was born August 28th, 1944 to Hassie E McClure & Joseph C Marcotte of Oklahoma City.
She graduated from Mercy Nursing School in 1965. She then chose to further her education at the University of Central Oklahoma where she earned her Masters and Doctorate in Education. She had an enormous love of learning that she passed on to her family and her students that she continued teaching even after her retirement from Mercy hospital. She was also an active volunteer at the Western Heritage Museum, and at Francis Tuttle teaching EKG interpretation. Lillian had a big heart, a love of healing, and loved her family fiercely. She is survived by her brothers, Henry, Charles, and Raymond Marcotte; sisters Betty Freeman, and Dixie Menees; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
Lillian is preceded in death by her husband Fred Martin; sisters, Linda Kane, Theresa Freeman, and Mary L Gray. A Rosary will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday March 17th in the chapel of Buchanan Funeral Service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 900 S. Littler Ave. Edmond, OK 73083.
