Lucille Joyce Hall, 89, passed away at her home in Edmond, Oklahoma, surrounded by family & friends on December 5th, 2016. Lucille was born May 27, 1927 in Temora, Nebraska to Charles J. Moore & Cora Ellen (Marler) Moore. She had one brother, Charlie Moore. She attended school in Seward & Lincoln, Nebraska before moving to Florida where she met the love of her life, James T. Hall (Jim), whom she married August 11, 1946. They celebrated nearly 70 wonderful years of marriage, and had 2 daughters, Cynthia Ellen and Linda Sue. Lucille & Jim enjoyed traveling extensively, including several European vacations, and always loved attending church several times a week at The Church of Christ. She was very active in community & church, Lucille started the hospital visitation program at her church, served on the Piedmont Planning commission, was a founding member of the Piedmont Round-Up Club and was instrumental in getting the first 4-way stop sign at the dangerous NW Highway/Piedmont Road intersection. She is survived her daughter, Sue and her husband Mike Treece, daughter Cynthia and her husband Eric Dash, and grandchildren Lindsay Treece, Matthew Treece and his wife Mandy, and Aaron Oglesby. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and her dear husband. The family would like to thank Synergy Home Care, with special thanks to Linda Banks & Fiona Kyaterekera for their compassion and love for Lucille. Donations may be made in Lucille's honor to St. Jude Children's Research or the American Heart Association. Services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Buchanan Funeral Services in Oklahoma City. Viewing for family and friends will be Friday, December 9, 1:00 – 8:00 p.m.
