Mary Presley January 21, 1926 - May 31, 2010

PRESLEY,
Mary Mildred was born January 21, 1926 in Webb, Iowa. She went to be with her Lord on May 31, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Presley; parents, Garrett and Hazel Mackey; 2 brothers, Joe & Jim Mackey, a sister, Gert Stacey and a grandson, Brad Presley. Survivors include two sisters, Ellen Waltermyer and Margaret Cook; a son, Robert Presley and wife Debra; 3 daughters, Jackie and husband Merle Arens, Kathy and husband, Jim McKittrick, and Mary Beth Presley and Ivan. Also survived by grandchildren, Brent and wife Gina, Lisa and husband John, Bryce and wife Pam, Carla and husband Matt, Craig, Michael and wife Stephanie, Jamie and husband Nick, Jana and husband Nathaniel, Amber and husband Danny, Sarah and Dane. She was also survived by her step-grandchildren, Annetta, Alex, Mark, Bryan, Brenda and Brent, and 19 great-grandchildren. Mary's greatest joy in life came from taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren. You always knew that you could count on her to take care of you anytime you needed anything. She was a wonderful and selfless caretaker. Mary also loved to read and to work in the garden with her husband. She also loved to listen to music. You could almost always find her later in life listening to CMT on her television. You could also guarantee that she would always be up to date on all the current events in the world, she loved to watch the news and she had her opinions and was not afraid to share them. Mary will be missed by so many and now has the joy of reuniting with her husband and other family members. She lived a very long and fulfilled life, one that should be celebrated. She will always be remembered and loved. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel.
