Michael Ray Owen passed through heaven’s gates and into the arms of our Lord last night after a long illness. Born in Ft. Worth, Texas on June 29, 1953 to Jerry and Nina Owen. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Susan Robb Owen; 1 brother, Arthur Lee Owen and his wife, Laura Lee Owen; 4 nieces, 3 nephews and many grand-nieces and nephews. Mike grew up in Fort Worth, Texas; graduated in 1971 from Arlington Heights High School, where he excelled at playing clarinet in the band; and graduated with a degree in music from Texas Wesleyan College in 1976. He married Jennifer Susan Robb on December 27, 1976 and they enjoyed 46 wonderful years together. Michael enjoyed spending time with family and friends, brought joy and laughter to everyone he knew, loved singing in the choir, playing piano and working with the children at church.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N Council Rd. Oklahoma City, OK 73132. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Service.

Mike will be surely missed. I worked with him many years, such a sweet man. He would come by my office many times with stories and would always make me laugh. I know Jennifer and the rest of his family will be lost without him. Prayers & Comfort for all of them.

Enjoyed singing tenor with Mike in choir. Thank you for all the time you spent working (playing piano) for the kids. We miss you
