Mollie Greenwood May 23, 1926 - June 15, 2009

GREENWOOD,
Mollie Molean, age 83 of Oklahoma City, went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 15, 2009. She was born May 23, 1926 in McPherson, KS to William Newton and Millie Lutitia (Bridgens) Shanks. She married Jack Durelle Greenwood and to this marriage was added 8 children. Mollie was a wonderful Christian woman, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved children and the light of her life was her children and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Earnest, Warren, Loren and a nephew, Bill. She is survived by Jack, her husband of 61 years; 5 daughters, Dianne Chitwood (Randy); Jacque Hildebrand (Dean); Beverly Karnes (Morris); Barbara Prince (Randy); Jan Swann (Steve); 3 sons, Kent Greenwood (Sheri); Kirk Greenwood; Kreg Greenwood (Becky); 16 grandchildren, Amanda White (Austin); Emily Chitwood; Jacob Hildebrand (Kristin); Lauren Huang (Adam); Jennifer Brown; Jason Karnes; Kacie Karnes; Valarie Prince; Barrett Prince (Jeanette); Torrey Prince; Kristyn Allison (Jason); Jessica Stephens (Matthew); Evan Greenwood; Taylor Greenwood; Kaleb Greenwood; Becca Greenwood; and 9 great-grandchilden, Braden & Mason White, Henry Hildebrand, Tobiah & Elle Huang, Skyler, Raigen & Conner Brown, and Oliver Prince, and a niece, Melinda Shanks-Robbins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Christian Services of OK (Adoption Services), 501 E. 15th Suite 500A, Edmond, OK 73013. Visitation will be all day Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, with the family receiving visitors Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM. Services to celebrate her life will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 19th at North MacArthur Church of Christ, 9300 N. MacArthur, Oklahoma City with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
