Phillip Willis November 6, 1945 - September 2, 2023

Phillip Willis passed away peacefully from this life into the arms of his Lord and Savior on September 2, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on November 6, 1945, to A.G. (Buddy) and Leoda Willis in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He grew up in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, where he met the love of his life, Jeanne McCullough. Phil and Jeanne were married in 1968, and after graduating from ECU with a Master’s in special education, they eventually moved to Oklahoma City, where they raised their family. Phil was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jeanne Willis; son Chad Willis and daughter-in-law Angela Willis of OKC; daughter Julianne Brownfield and son-in-law Tom Brownfield of Prague, OK; and eight grandchildren – Brenna Whitmore of OKC and Max Willis of Norman, OK; Elizabeth, Elysa, Jake, Dustin, Ellie, and Emma Brownfield of Prague, OK. His service will be held at Buchanan Funeral Service on September 8th, 2023, at 10 a.m.
