Our dear Nana, Sandra S. Watson, of Yukon Oklahoma sadly passed away on Saturday December 30, 2023, at the age of 73. She was surrounded by family. Anyone that knew Nana knew that she cherished family above all else and that her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe.

Nana was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. Nana had three girls by birth, but many people considered her their Nana. She was very present for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You would see her at every performance, game, practice, and event she was able to attend. No matter the weather they could always count on her being there cheering them on. She was such a fixture, that teammates friends and their younger siblings all had a Nana who had snacks and shouts of support.

She had many friends that were more like family throughout her lifetime and was a well-loved for her giving nature, joy of life. Her sarcasm and wit that made you laugh until you cried. She shared her love of reading, sports, the beach and outdoors with her daughters as well as the love of a manual transmission and flying down the road singing to the radio. Nana was very giving of her time during the holidays and throughout the year. She was active in the Wheeling for the Wounded Annual Event as well as the Toys for Tots charity fundraisers for the last decade.  Nana was many things to many people, and she will be greatly missed by all.

Nana was proceeded in death by her husband of 55 years, Paul Watson, her parents Glenn & Esther McCormick, her brothers Larry Snow and Kevin Snow and is survived by her three daughters and their husbands: Glenda & Michael Shelton, Cassandra & Derek Payne and Shonna & Jeff Gore as well as her sisters and brother, Norma & Vic Lagman, Rose Lawrence and Jan Mulvania. Nana leaves behind her eleven grandchildren Brandon Clark, Ashley Shelton, Taylor Jeffries, Morgan Jeffries, Ashley Gore, Justin Gore, Jacob Gore, Jessica Babin, Shon Watson, Samuel Payne, Oliva Payne, as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
