Thomas Theodore Schwarz, 85, of Oklahoma City passed away on May 10, 2023.  Tom was born in Okarche, Oklahoma to Louis and Anna (Schlirf) Schwarz.  He was a graduate of Holy Trinity High School and proudly served in the US Army.  Tom married Judy Schweitzer on October 19, 1963, and they had two daughters.

He was soft spoken, witty, strong-willed and ornery with the biggest heart. He would drop everything if someone needed something. Tom was a loving husband, dad and Papa.  After retiring from many years as a floor mechanic he loved being outdoors enjoying yardwork, gardening, grilling, playing with the great grandkids and just relaxing on the porch.

He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Anna, his siblings Mildred Knecht and husband Francis, Dorothy Hufnagel and husband George, Harold and wife Mary, Francis and wife Ida, John (Jay) and wife Trudy, Paul and wife Regina, Pat and wife Marie, Carlos, brother-in-law Pat McConville and Great-Grandson Bradley Thomas Beckwith.

He is survived by his wife Judy, his children Cindy and Ron Jantz and Brenda Schwarz, brother Ray (Bid) and wife Ann Schwarz, sister Carol McConville and Sister-in-law Chris Schwarz, grandchildren Leslie and Jacob Beckwith, Kelsey and Connor Moore, Allison Statton, Rebecca Statton and great grandchildren Olivia Moore, Natalie Beckwith and Cooper Moore and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N Council Rd.

The Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, 2121 N Portland Ave.
