Morton, Allen "Butch" Leroy, age 72, passed away on February 3, 2014. He was born on February 3, 1942 in Medford, Oregon to Lorraine (Nelson) and Arnold Morton. He was an auto mechanic who restored and repaired classic cars. Al's first love is Drag Racing and spent his early years building race cars that burned up the quarter-mile in California. He has had fuel-altered dragsters and funny cars and loved to work on them. He has traveled the world. Allen is survived by his wife Linda Morton of the home; step-daughter, Amy Paulette and husband James Cox; step- son Chad Ridenhour; step-granddaughter, Breana Ridenhour; step-grandson, Wesley Ridenhour all of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Barbara and husband Jerry McCollum of Medford, OR, nephew, Matthew and wife Cyndy McCollum; great-nieces, Johanna and Maria McCollum of Honduras; nephew, Steven and wife Laura McCollum; great-nephew, Kenton and great-niece, Mallory McCollum of Virginia, Shelly Murphy, twin nieces, Dina and Dana Murphy, and nephew, AZ Murphy of Fairfax Station, VA;. Services to celebrate his life will be 11:00 AM, Monday, February 10, 2014 in Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel.
