Betty Jean Williams, age87, of Kerrville, TX, aformer long-time resident of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away in KerrvilleonApril 9,2014. She was born in Lucien,OK to Sue & Henry Kasl on February 13, 1927. Betty graduated from High School in Perry, OKand attended Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater, OK. Bettymarried Billy Williams on January 31, 1947 in Perry, OK, andwas employed for over 25 years by C.H. Guernsey & Co. in Oklahoma City.
Betty was a wonderful wife,mother and grandmother, enjoyed cooking,traveling, playing Bridge, readingand wasan avidOU football and OKC Thunder basketball fan…. sheespeciallyloved theOU-Texas football rivalry. Betty was a member of the Chapel Hill Methodist Church for many years and also attended Church of The Servant in Oklahoma City.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy and son, Kerry Williams. She is survived by her daughterPam Robbins (husbandMonty)of Crescent, OK &sonTim Williams (wifeLinda)of Mancos, CO;brothers Ron Kasl (wifeSondra)of Tulsa, OK& Wally Kasl (wifeLinda)of Santa Fe, NM;fivegrandchildren – Michael Williams, Christy WilliamsMendoza, Cody Williams, Jeff Williams & Brooke Robbins Andrews;& one great-granddaughter, Emma Andrews. Betty is also survived by two nieces, Ronda & Resa Kasl, and a host of other family & friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday,April 15 at theResurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 7801NWExpy, Oklahoma City, with Pastor Robby Robbins officiating.
