Bobby Dale Mullins, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, age 85, passed away on May 26, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Born in Allen, Oklahoma and raised in Holdenville, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Chester and Erna Lankford Mullins of Holdenville, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charlotte Jennings Mullins; daughter Reyna Helms and husband Steve; son Robert Mullins and wife Bridget; five grandchildren, Jennifer Barnthson and husband Andrew, Christopher Hubbard and fiancée Paige Scott, Stephanie Helms, Brennan Mullins and Liam Mullins; three great-grandchildren, Avaleigh (Ava) Hubbard, Clara Barnthson, and baby Barnthson; three sisters, Dorothy Williams of Norman Oklahoma, Patsy Cline of Lewisville Texas and June Jones of San Antonio Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
Bobby and his wife Charlotte have been residents of Oklahoma City since 1975.
Bobby completed 39 years of government service, and worked with the Air Force, the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Mines and Federal Aviation Administration. He was a Charter Member of PASS (Professional Aviation Safety Specialists), a union for employees of the FAA , and served as Local President, and National Delegate and Regional Vice-president.
Bobby had a strong faith in God and was a member of Trinity Bible Church. He had a love for missions and served as Deacon of Missions for 15 years.
Bobby left to be with our Lord surrounded by love and comfort from his family.
We treasure all the wonderful memories of you. We are comforted to know that you are in Heaven and one day we will meet again.
Interment will be in Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville Oklahoma.
