Frances “Paulette” Roberson January 22, 1943 - September 27, 2021

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2021, at Buchanan‘s Funeral Home, 8712 North Council Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Pastor Chris Shorrow officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life reception following for family and friends at 11316 Rosehaven Drive, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Paulette was born January 22, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Paul D. Toombs and Areba K. Toombs of Oklahoma City, and graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1961. Paulette retired from the Department of Transportation in 2008 where she was the manager of the Oklahoma State Data Services Division.
Paulette had two daughters with her ex-husband Raymond C. Roberson and spent 36 years with her life partner, Russell Mac Scrivner, of Oklahoma City. Paulette and Mac loved dancing and spent many hours on a dance floor. She also enjoyed hosting pool parties for her family and friends at the home that she and Mac shared together. Paulette was an avid OU football and softball fan and loved attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, which she rarely ever missed a game. She also loved the holiday season, especially the mad-dash of Christmas Eve shopping from dusk til dawn with her kids and family.

Paulette is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly Hylton of Wayne, Oklahoma, Lisa Grant and husband, Michael Grant, of Oklahoma City, stepson, Rick Scrivner and wife, Kim Scrivner, of Union City, stepson, Shannon Scrivner and Wife, Lucinda Scrivner, of Oklahoma City, 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, sister, Saundra J. Carr, of Norman, Oklahoma, stepmother, Patricia Toombs, half-brother, Paul D. Toombs Jr., stepsister, Pamela Davidson, stepbrother, Dennis Roberts, all of California.
Paulette was preceded in death by ex-husband, Raymond C. Roberson, Russell (MAC) Scrivner, her father, Paul D. Toombs, and mother, Areba K. Toombs.
