Geary “Woody” Ronald Woodall August 25, 1938 - June 1, 2017

Geary Ronald “Woody” Woodall, 78 years old, left to be with his Lord on Thursday morning June 1st.  He passed away at his home in Piedmont, Oklahoma.  Woody was a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Piedmont where he was known as “The Coffee Man”.  He was the owner of Woodall Equipment Company and formerly Woody’s Alignment and Brake Service in OKC and was very proud to be celebrating 51 years in business.   Woody was born in Faxon, OK where he learned to drive a tractor at the age of 4.  His pet bull “Scottie” and he were paid to perform at the Rodeo as entertainment. He was a huge fan of bull riding.  He was the Valedictorian of his class and an All-State baseball and basketball player who went to Cameron University.  He served in the U.S. Air Force at Andrews Air Force Base and his favorite recreational activity in the military was to watch the ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.   Woody worked every day of his life and when wasn’t working, plowed wheat, mowed grass, and helped others.  Woody was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Jewell Woodall and his wife Helen Hickman Woodall.  He is survived by his three daughters:  Rhonda and Mike Curry of Olathe, KS, Janeen Woodall of OKC, Debbie and Jamie Woodall Routledge of Lawrence, KS.  His sister Charlotte High, nephew Brent and Cathy Young, Niece Melia Young, and Nephew Todd and Becky Young.  His step children Bill Adair, Shelly Blakemore, Jim and Renee Adair, and Elisa and Greg Massey.  Grandchildren include Matt Curry, Zach Curry, Jasmine Massey, Jake Massey, Michael and Brett Blakemore, Mandy Adair, Erika Adair, Alekza Adair  and his beloved dog, “Little Jesse”.   

 Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society or “Savannah Station Therapeutic Riding Program 9304 HWY 81 N. El Reno, OK 73036” which is a local charity he felt passionate about. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 8:00 on Sunday, June 4 at Buchanan Funeral Home at 8712 N. Council Road, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.  Family members will be present from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.  A Memorial Service will be held Monday June 5th at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church of Piedmont, 15 Jackson Ave. NW, Piedmont, OK 73078.
