Jodie Mae Sharpe, 86, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away on February 12, 2024. She was born on June 6, 1937, in Chelsea Oklahoma. Jodie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and step-grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Jodie is survived by her daughter, Steffany Sharpe Leach, and her husband Andy; her grandson, Hunter Sharpe Moore, and his wife Amanda; her step-grandson, Daniel Leach; and her step-grandson, Alexander Leach, and his wife Monica. She adored them all.
Jodie had a deep passion for her farm and horses. She took great joy in watching her race horses run and spent many hours tending to them. She also had a kind heart for stray dogs. She never turned one away.
Services for Jodie will be held at Buchanan’s Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, OK. A viewing will take place on February 21, 2024, from 4 pm to 8 pm. A memorial service will be held on February 22, 2024, at 2 pm. The burial will be private for the family.
