Lea Ferguson, age 81 passed away August 10, 2011. She was born in OKC to John and Hazel (Morton) Calhoun. She graduated from Capitol Hill High School and studied two years of nurses training. She continued her education in the medical profession and became a certified diplomate of the American Board of Quality Assurance/Utilization Review and worked as a Quality Assurance and Social Services coordinator at the St. Rose Dominican hospital in Henderson, NV. Upon retirement she moved back to OKC. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Maetta Smith and Martha Graham, and her brother, John Calhoun Jr. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dale Ferguson, one son, William Schuster and two daughters, Linda Hess and Daina Rose, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. We all loved her and will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Forest Hill Christian Church, 2121 N. MacArthur in Oklahoma City.
