Mary Ellen was born in Enid, OK to Lyle and Dora McCune. She married Richard Moseley August 25, 1963. Mary Ellen's career was in specialty advertising. She represented Midwest Trophy as an active member of Executive Women International and was very active on committees and held board positions. Many friendships were developed over that 18 year period. From this organization came a special group of friends called First Monday Club they drew numbers for their custom license plates Fran Cory -1, Mary Ellen -2, Carol Lane -3, Connie Befort -4, Linda Gardner -5, Lori Bedford -6, and Barbara Green -7. One of the main projects for this group was to clean, paint, decorate and furnish apartments at the Battered Women's Shelter, giving mothers and their children safe and clean places to call home. Mostly the group just enjoyed seeing each other on the First Monday of each month. After the grandsons arrived life revolved around them. One or two of the nights each weekend were spent a Grandma's house. Vacation trips to the mountains of Colorado, Utah, Montana, and the beaches of Florida. There was always a project or adventure. Mary Ellen is survived by her husband, Richard Moseley; daughter, Rebecca Moseley Conner and husband Ronnie; two grandsons, Ashton and Chad; brothers, Lyle McCune and wife Barbara of Kingfisher, OK, Jerry McCune and wife Sharon of Enid, OK; sister, Karen Cole of Enid, OK; brother-in-law, Philp Moseley of Guthrie, OK; sister-in-law, Lavonna Moseley of Kingfisher, OK and many nieces and nephews. The family dogs were an enjoyment for Richard and Mary Ellen; Shelby, Cody, and Max. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 23 from 9 AM to 8 PM. Services to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Westside Christian Church with a reception afterwards.
