Sherman W. Stallings, born on April 20, 1936, in Sikeston, Missouri, passed into the arms of his Savior on January 11, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he resided.
A dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, Sherman’s faith was the guiding light of his life, and he was an embodiment of Christian values, always willing to extend a helping hand to those in need. He served honorably in the United States Army before embarking on a career as a salesman in the food wholesale industry.
Sherman was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd and Opal Stallings, and his wife, Jeanette “Jean” Stallings. He leaves behind his daughters, Sherri Moore and Lisa Coffin.
Sherman’s life will be celebrated in a memorial service on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 2:00pm at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N Council Rd. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73132.
