Shirley Hart July 7, 1946 - March 10, 2015

Shirley was born in Toledo, OH to Gloriola (Babb) and William Franklin Porter. Shirley, at a young age, traveled with her family to Okinawa and El Salvador. She was a grade school teacher in the American Calvert School system in San Salvador, El Salvador. Shirley worked in many areas during her life, with her final position as owner / manager of Aviation Insurance Group. She incorporated her children into every aspect of her daily routine and was very engaged with all school activities. She loved to play Bingo, visit with her friends and laugh. She was an overall joyful, optimistic person. Shirley filled many roles in her life, mentor, caretaker, manager, but foremost; she was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife and friend. Shirley will be remembered for her sense of humor and will be missed by all those who truly knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents and step daughter, Karen Barrett. Shirley is survived by her husband, Theo Hart; sons, Michael Charles Pennington and Steven Lee Pennington; daughter Cynthia Babb Infante; step-daughter, Dawn Neihart; brothers, Les Porter (Sandy) and Bill Porter (Linda); grandchildren, Christopher, Christina, Alyssa, Sean, Kenna, Sunie, Joe, Maegan; great-grandchildren, Briley, Kinley, Kash, Presley, Dilyn, Keila and numerous other family members. Services to celebrate her life will be 10:00 am, Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel.
